Earlier this year, SGI Canada announced its entrance into the Ontario insurance market by July 2017. Today, CHAT Insurance is adding SGI to our list of standard insurers for personal insurance! We will be offering their new line of standard products, including auto, home, condo and tenant personal insurance.
With over 60 years of reputation, SGI Canada currently works with over 500 independent insurance brokers in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and, now, Ontario.
However, this is not SGI Canada’s first foray into the Ontario market. In 2001, the company acquired Coachman Insurance Company, an industry leader in non-standard auto insurance. Coachman offers insurance to drivers that are deemed as higher risks because of their driving or claims record.
